The National Park provides a set of public policies and rules that must be followed by all visitors.
Fishing is prohibited inside the park.
It is prohibited to enter the park intoxicated, under the influence of drugs, or with weapons.
Always keep your belongings under close supervision.
El Manzanillo is a tree that produces a toxic sap that causes irritation, and should not be touched.
Access to Puerto Escondido varies with the tide. Please consult park staff at the main entrance for further information.
Please respect all life inside the park. Do not feet the animals as it causes them severe health problems.
Stay on the paths, pay attention to the signs, and do not destroy wildlife.
Fires are prohibited inside the park.
The picnic tables are for food only; please do not sit on them.
Please pick up trash and leave the park as you found it.
Enjoy the natural scenery; please do not remove shells, rocks, or any other natural thing from the park.
Please use water within the park sparingly and do not use soap or shampoo as it damages the wildlife and the mangroves.
Pets are not allowed into Park.
Please refrain from bringing soccer balls or radios into the park as it disrupts the natural environment and the enjoyment of others.
